hello 502!

i heard that on last wed, mrs wong asked the class whether we as a class do a charity by donating to the Myanmar cyclone. Some of the girls had spoken to Mdm Liew about this..and she is okay with (if it will not affect our revision). So, we will wait for Mrs Wong to be back and we will discuss with her. This is a class operation. Therefore, i hope everyone will contribute if the plan goes well. However, if the plan fail, the school is also making donations to both Myanmar and China. I hope 502 will play a part in helping these 2 countries. All of us live on the same planet..We should help one another!

Hey 409, some of you pulled a fast one on me on Friday. I went to class but you were not there anymore. :(

Anyway, I gave out a comprehension exercise and I have five or six copies left which means that a number of you do not have it. Some of you have your copies with your classmates e.g. Adeline, Shi Ting etc (I hope you have received them). You have to submit this piece of work on the first day of Term 4 (= Monday 10 Sep) so you must get it from me before the holidays end.

I will be in school on Tues and Thurs mornings. You can come to school and I will pass you the exercise. Alternatively, if you are meeting your classmates outside school, you can get the copy from them and photocopy it. If you really cannot make both, you can email me at tan_thiam_meng@moe.edu.sg and we will arrange a meeting time. Note that I will not be available from Friday onwards because I have a conference to attend. The affected people are (I think my list is accurate):
